Returns

Thirty days from the day the box reaches you, used or unused. If the fault is ours, the carriage is ours too.

The window

Thirty calendar days, counted from the day the box arrives rather than the day you ordered. That is longer than the fourteen days EU distance-selling law requires, and it applies whether you have used the item or not.

A pan that has been cooked in can come back. An appliance that has been plugged in and tried can come back. We would rather know a thing did not suit you than have it sit in a cupboard unused.

Where you pay the return carriage, it is the real cost of the label and nothing more — there is no restocking fee and no handling charge.

How to start one

Email support@syphrix.com with the reference from your confirmation and a line about what is wrong. For anything faulty, two photographs save a great deal of back and forth: one of the whole item, one close up on the problem.

You get a return address and, where we are paying, a prepaid label. Please do not send anything to the registered office in Barcelona without asking — it is an office, not a warehouse, and parcels sent there go astray.

Getting the money back

Because you paid the driver in cash, there is no card to refund. We send the money by bank transfer to an account you nominate, usually within three working days of the item reaching us and always within fourteen.

The transfer covers the price of the goods and, where the fault was ours, the return carriage as well.

Condition

Send it back with whatever it arrived with: lids, spare gaskets, blade guards, the instruction leaflet. Original packaging helps it survive the trip but is not a condition of the refund.

We reduce a refund only where an item has been damaged beyond ordinary trial — a pan scoured to bare metal, a slicer run through something frozen. Normal use while you decided is not damage, and we do not deduct for it.

Hygiene exceptions

A very small number of things cannot come back once opened, for reasons that are about food safety rather than policy: sealed food storage with a broken seal, and anything sold as a consumable such as filters or baking parchment. These are flagged in the reply that quotes you, before you commit to anything.

Your statutory rights

None of this replaces the rights Spanish and EU consumer law gives you, including the two-year guarantee of conformity covered on the guarantee page. Where our terms are more generous than the law, our terms apply.
